I was going to say the same thing. We're dealing with a similar issue right now while cleaning out our basement. This is the 7th or 8th time I've mentioned their property to them (they didn't have room to take the items when they moved out), so they know they're here. Haven't lifted a finger. If they don't get it this time, they've abandoned it as far as I'm concerned.

It hurts a bit more when it is a relative. Someone passes away so you take their stuff then another one so you take theirs and then people squabble about everything as if it's the Bargain Center in Quincy in the 1940's...
