Default Which school is better? Bentley or Northeastern?

I will do finance in college and I am not sure which of the two best suits me! Does the general public of Boston consider Northeastern a better school than Bentley? and In terms of job placement prospects, which school is better?

Your opinion is appreciated!

I'd say that if you are sure you want to major in finance, then Bentley would be my choice being one of the best business colleges in the country, but it depends what kind of atmosphere you're looking for. I assume you've visited both? Did you look at Babson as well?

Actually, I have not visited any because I live in Africa.
I learned that Northeastern has a co-op program which gurantee students a job after graduation. I find that very appealling! I have done lots of research on both schools and I love both schools. I am really finding it difficult to choose between the two.

in terms of academics, do you think they are equally good?

Yes, they do have a co-op program which gives you on the job experience, I'm not sure they are able to guarantee you a job, though?

I don't know if anyone can answer that for you. It depends on what kind of environment you are looking for (city vs. suburb in this case) and how much each of these schools will cost to attend.

There is an education forum on this site - maybe someone there can offer you some more information.

As one in academia, I can tell you that Bentley vs. Northeastern is an apples-to-oranges comparison. Bentley is a small, suburban business college; N'eastern a big, comprehensive urban university.

I am unfamiliar with individual business programs, but in terms of overall institutional prestige I don't think there's much question that Northeastern would be considered the better name.
