I really like Dr. David Goldberg in Framingham but I think he's affiliated with Metrowest Medical, which I don't think is the best hospital. I don't know if he works at other hospitals in the area but might be worth checking. If not, I'd pick someone at Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

Anyone at the About Women By Women practice in Wellesley. The are all affiliated with Newton-Wellesley and are great. They have their main office on Rte 9 in Wellesley and a satellite office in Walpole.
Dr. Molly Clark is especially wonderful but you can't go wrong with any of the doctors there.

I go to About Women by women. My Dr. is Molly Clark. Overall all the Drs are good there. They are easy to get to if you are in Natick, Wellesley area. They are associated with Newton-Wellesley hospital.
Their office has a lab and 2 ultrasounds so all my appts were right there which helped as parking was easy compared to the hospital.
Good luck.

When I lived in that area Dr. Molly Clark was my gyn. She's GREAT. I highly recommend her and the practice she belongs to.

Does anyone know Dr. Bessim? She's also at About Women for Women. I tried getting an appointment with Dr. Molly Clark but she was booked up for months.

It depends on what you're looking for. I take it from your screen name that you're moving from the Bay Area. That was us two years ago (to Wellesley). My wife delivered our first child at Summit in Oakland with a midwife, and our second at N-W with the midwife practice from Harvard-Vanguard. They were fantastic and N-W is an excellent hospital.
On personal recommendations similar to some here, she originally went to About Women By Women, but found them to be very much on the testing/monitoring/intervention side of the spectrum. If you're going in expecting that there's a high chance you'll be induced, a high chance you'll use an epidural, and a higher-than-average chance you'll have a c-section, or if you already know you have complications that we will require any or all of the above, then About Women By Women may well be right for you. If you're looking for natural childbirth, the midwives at H-V will provide much better support.
This is not the place to debate the relative merits of these approaches, but I wanted to write because I know that the Bay Area has a larger-than-average population looking for midwives and/or natural childbirth.
Final caveat: H-V can be rather bureaucratic, and we have since left them for primary care over difficulties with actually speaking to a doctor and referrals and the like. The midwife practice was basically fine for all of that, and in any event, the level of care in all practices was very good.
