Not so fast. there are extreme medical breakthroughs being studied in the psychology world. The fact that these are schedule 1 which means A) High potential for abuse and B) No medical use is plain false on both accounts. I know this is too much for some people to swallow but in the hands of medical professionals I think this could be very promising.

I haven't heard that about shrooms, but there has been lots of looking into low dose acid for treatment. Been going on years now.

Interesting. I recommend Michael Pollan's latest book, How to Change Your Mind. Psychedelics got a really bad rep that they didn't deserve. It seems to me they should be more widely available. Especially to people who have terminal illnesses.

I might check it out, but swore him off after a Place of My Own. Maybe time for a second chance.

John Hopkins has been running studies on patients using mushrooms to treat cancer and end of life anxiety as well as smoking cessation and are pushing to reclassify it:

Our 4-letter friend has stopped ordering mushrooms on his Papa Gino's pizza in protest.

Im 75% through it. Great topic. Well written. It's interesting how the government and environment labeled these "drugs" to be of no beneficial use. the sheep will follow and not use any critical thought of their own and just deem it as destructive. Research shows the exact opposite. But as we can see with the POT discussions, It's very hard to change someones mind when something is ingrained. The more interesting thing is thats exactly what these drugs do. They break down repetitive patterns and give users a fresh palate. Which is why it has been so successful in addiction treatment.

Not from Massachusetts here. But title grabbed my attention.

Magic mushrooms has been uses for ages. It has also been used to treat migraine headaches.

In actuality, mushrooms can be used as dosages.
