The Patriots and Chiefs played a real barn-burner earlier in the season, and last night's contest was just as intense and just as close. Had the Chiefs won the coin toss in overtime, it might very well have been their win!

It certainly wasn't a perfect game for the Pats, but many players contributed to the win in all 3 phases. For the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid - hats off to them, I am sure we haven't seen the last of them wreaking havoc in high level NFL games.

I'm not a Chiefs fan, but it makes me physically ill that the Patriots are going to another Super Bowl. They'll probably win that too. I think it's time for Belichick and Brady to retire. Go Rams!

There are sore winners and sore losers. I'll take the former every time.

In my opinion, the game was not even as close as the score suggests and it would have been bad for the Chiefs to have represented the AFC in the SB.

The Pats are a machine right now. Gawd help the Rams!

That 4th quarter had me out of my seat. Last time that happened was the Atlanta SB. I'll take games like that (with wins hopefully) over blowouts anyday.

Yeah, it was a real roller coaster in the second half. Neither team played mistake-free football, that's for sure, but both teams played at a very high level overall, and both teams refused to yield, mentally. It was a great contest. Of course they still had to execute on the winning drive in overtime to get the W, and that wasn't easy, but KC had proven that they could easily drive and score on the Pats in the second half too. I think the coin toss may ultimately have decided the winner.

The Rams don't deserve to be there. The Saints were robbed.

You know the coin toss will be the controversy over the next few weeks. Whatever team got that football was going to score first. Could have gone either way.

But I remember with 2 mins left saying not that many teams can make a game winning drive with 2 mins left to win the game..but this was Brady we were talking about. But when they scored, I felt they left too much time on the clock. I thought KC would choke under the pressure of a game winning drive with 40 seconds, but they show how explosive they can be.
