Hey, best of luck with your purchase and move

It's a great time to get into the city of NBPT. I bet once this current downturn in real estate if over, that will be one of the first places to rebound bigtime!
While I don't think there's a farmers market downtown, there are a bunch of great farmstands all around. Drive down 113 toward Groveland, there's Long Hill orchards which has so many varieties of PYO apples come late August/early September. You can take a ride to Amesbury at the corner of 150 and 110, there's a little farm stand there. As well as several as you travel toward Haverhill on Rte 110. Lots of cute little garden centers as well.

To give an update regarding the beginning of this thread: Since my first post, my husband and I have decided to dive in headfirst and buy the house in Newburyport, so we will be moving sometime this summer. Despite the change it will bring, we are very excited.
All of the recommendations for restaurants and the good food places in this conversation are extremely helpful. If there are further comments like that on where to go, I would be interested to hear them. Also, more places to bike, hike and favorite beaches on Plum Island would be of great interest to me too.
I've heard that Newburyport has a farmers market that sets up downtown on the weekends, is this true?
Thanks again!
