Default Maynard, Stow, Acton, Melrose, West Concord

So how to these towns compare? We have about 400K to spend and would like a single family but could deal with a townhouse in say, Concord. We are not too concerned about elementary or middle schools, just high schools (our kids are in private school in Cambridge). Do they all have commuter rail and or T? How is the drive to Cambridge? Nice towns? General feel?

Thanks for your help!

In this order (for schools):

West Concord
Acton
Stow
Melrose
Maynard

To the best of my knowledge.

Thank you movingforward, I guess that's why we found the coolest property in Maynard. What is the general feel of Maynard? Most people commute for work? Most people grew up there? I've only been through Maynard on the way to apple picking. And where would you add sudbury in the list in terms of schools? Thanks.
