Hi everyone,
We're a biracial family--black and Irish--interested in learning more about Braintree. We're especially interested in thoughts regarding the public schools, Meeting House Montessori school and the restaurants/culture the town has to offer. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. |

I live in Braintree and like it a lot. I grew up here and went through the public school - they are great! Now I have 2 kids of my own and there is a lot for them to do - sports, different activites. Not sure about the Montesori School. There are lots of good restaraunts- Jimbo's South, El Sarape. It's nice and close to Boston by T or highway. Close to Rt 95 and Rt 3 as well. People here are cool- it's not the most diverse place in the world but most people are friendly and open-minded in general throughout almost everyplace in Mass.

Braintree is a very nice town. Very middle-class, mostly quiet and peaceful (except around the Plaza), and a decent school system.
Braintree also has a few nice restaurants, including (as the previous poster said) El Sarape, which is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the Boston area. |
