That's what the parents of Metco students have decided - send the kids to the best school system available rather than where their peers are.

Yes. That would have been my plan if we couldn't afford to live in our current district. We take a handful of Metco kids each year but its really a small district so the numbers are low.

It depends on how you measure it.
I found even fewer white women want to date Asian men, than date black men. (I'm talking about marriage oriented dating, not random encounters.)
In high school, black boys usually can make friends more easily than Asian boys (unless there is a huge group of Asians).

Most Argentinians and Chileans are pretty much completely white. Some Caribbeans countries are majority black, other have a lot of native components.
Have you ever actually been to Chile? It’s majorly mestizo. Intermarried white (Spanish) & indigenous. If you walk around Santiago, people look a heck of a lot browner than walking around Madrid. Generally, the more white blood, the higher the socioeconomic status. If you are in a high end restaurant, most of the patrons look white.

Mestizos are considered white in general, just like north Africans and Arabs are considered white, there is no mestizo race. You are either white, black, Asian, pacific or native (this by the US census). Sometimes "other" is also an option.
I would like to point out also this this is also all BS pretty much because race is just a social construct. For instance in the original definition of Caucasian was included everything from Portugal to India and from Norway to Ethiopia.

Of course. And also Caucasian means from the Caucasus, so Caucasians are Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenian, and parts of Russia. Aryan is the self term (in Sanskrit) for ancient Indo-Iranian people, so Iran and Northern India.
and in the 1700s people though all humans came from the Caucasus Mountains (though that's where Noah's Ark ended up)
In the 1800s people though the Proto-Indo-European origin point was in Northern Europe (why humans would originate someplace that cold was never explained)

All a bunch of crap based on pseudo-science that was debunked hundreds of years ago.

Yes...How else do you think Arizona is 83% white and New Mexico 82% white? Norwegians?

You need to recheck the census definition of white.

Yes, but the OP's kids are black. She was wondering whether she should send them to what is essentially an all white school district, even if it is better than where she currently lives.
