No one asked you either thank you. I was sharing some information and accounts I had from those actual towns, which few here seem to have. Quit trolling me.

No one is trolling you - I am just pointing out that if chicagoliz is not qualified to speak on this topic, then neither are you.

Not saying I am. I pretty much made sure to stay objective and keep my opinions to myself. It's a tough dilemma that I really don't have a good answer to.

i Know bad white kids as well. Kids from poor part of Southie who got scholarships to bc high and college and still ended up in bad fights, addicts, even murder charges. Some kids are just born bad or get changed for the worst. Doesn’t necessarily matter what color they are.

Plenty of bad white kids from good, wealthy towns. Casual racists, misogynists, drug-addled sociopaths who walk through life just fine, armored by the privilege they are too blind or arrogant (or both) to admit having. When life gets hard, just go crash at the second home they’ll inherit. We have all seen this happen in “good” towns.

I’m not a Democrat but I can spell. I’ve also been the 6’2” blue eyed white guy in an office building in South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan. I can understand the statements here that no matter how enlightened and educated a small town might be, if it’s 98% white, any other race would really stand out. Somewhere a bit more heterogeneous might work better. I imagine the UMass Medical Center has a bunch of foreign medical school grads like any other big hospital and med school. Same for the colleges. There must be some suburb with a concentration of those people.

And most are my neighbors. Most med students live along Plantation or between Plantation and Lake in Worcester. My apartment complex is about 75% Indian.
