Martha Anne is on a distinguished road
<<maybe Chelmsford or Westford, which are close, good family communities, but short on the charming downtowns.>>

Westford, you say, is short on the charming downtown? I drove up to Massachusetts to show my husband around and we sat in the little town common in Westford, across from the library, and thought how lovely it was right there.

Sorry. I guess I'm used to people from outside the area who have a real fantasy about quaint NE downtowns, like from a movie from the 1940s. Westford is fine. I just (wrongly) thought you might be one of those people who had a real daydream idea of a downtown.
Westford would be a great place to live in and very easy to get to work in Lawrence.
