Many of you seem well informed about Haverhill neighborhoods. Does anyone know what the crime rate is like on Summer Street?

I would probably look else were I have lived in Haverhill for 15 years and there are nicer streets to live on.

I think Summer Street is a very good place to live, but you always have to be careful! Summer St is only about a mile or two away from some pretty bad neighborhoods. Watch out for streets like 4th-8th ave and the streets that branch off like Portland St and Cedar St. But SUmmer St is actually a pretty safe street compared to certain areas just a few minutes away, but you have to keep an eye out for certain things, like you would have to in any other large city
