What can you tell me about cellular service on the Cape and in the Plymouth/South Shore area?

Which provider(s) are the best and worst?

Which areas are notoriously bad?

And do most people still have land lines?

Thanks!

I go very rarely to the cape but I have never had a problem with ATT and I have never heard of anyone having particular problems.. I would check the coverage on the companies website.

The answer in New England is pretty much always Verizon but it really depends on your travel pattern.

I keep meaning to get a prepaid T-Mobile sim chip to try them out in my travel pattern. Verizon is pretty expensive. I have VZ unlimited. My fiancée has AT&T unlimited and is always complaining in our travel pattern. We really need to consolidate to one plan.

And of course if you go with StraightTalk you get Verizon coverage but at a much more reasonable price.
