Default Family Activities in Billerica, MA

We're renting a home in Billerica, MA for the next year (or couple) while I'm stationed at Hanscom and now that I finally got that ironed out, I need to find out some info about the town. Any idea how Billerica rates in terms of things to do with the family? My wife will be staying home with our 2-yr old twin girls (at least initially) and she's hoping to find some kid friendly things to do in Billerica during the day. Are there any Stay at Home Mom's clubs? Or, any Mom's Day Out events/clubs in the area? If you have any info, please send it my way.

Thanks

Great Brook Farm State Park is very close by in Carlisle, the town next to Billerica, and would make a great trip with the kids. There's a dairy (with tours), a petting zoo, an ice cream stand, miles of hiking trails, and cross country skiing in winter.

Although I don't know anything about the program, there's a moms and tots group in Billerica:

Moms And Tots

You might also try calling the library in Billerica -- their Children's section will likely have a good grasp of family activities in the area. Here's a link:

Good luck!
