Here is a chance to get something in Dedham for under $200 a Sq Ft! Needs "a bit" of work though.

Nothing. That is a Westwood price, though.

You could absolutely pay me to live in Dedham. It’s fine. Heck, I almost bought a place there in 2008. At about 1/3 this price.

Right across from Legacy Place. Location is downright awful.

Ok maybe I could be literally paid to live in Dedham. I mean who’d pass up such an opportunity? I’d maybe be paid to live in Lawrence or Lowell if it came down to it. But surely you saw my point that paying a million dollars for a small home in Dedham is new territory to many. A sign of things to come I guess? Time will tell.

I went to Lawrence today. The city is actually beautiful but obsolete.
I visited the museum and was the only visitor the whole time.

The population is 80% Hispanic, and the waitress spoke Spanish to me first.
I ordered their lunch special, but was later told only dinner was available (at 1pm). There was a 15% service charge on the bill. But the place was pleasant overall.

Lowell is a awesome place to live. I've had more than a couple of friends move from Arlington and Somerville to buy places there. They love it. It's hardly a place people look down on, outside of this fringe anti urban Board.

Orange is great if you want to learn how to skydive. They have a parachute training school.

How can that place possibly be over 2,100 sq. ft.? It is clearly a mid-sixties ranch, with one level, and - at best - it's 1200 sq. ft. I would love to see the "finished basement" that could bump up any house like that to 2,100 sq. ft. The lies that people tell when selling houses ... That price is concordant with 1,200 sq. ft., so it makes sense only in that context (that and the fact that the entire yard needs rework as well as the siding). I'm staying right where I am until I leave MA. This is crazy!

Ayer is fine. I'd take it over Lowell any day of the week.
