Maybe you just a natural life that's a little more like home. What brought you to MT specifically? Maybe New Hampshire or Maine might be a better fit. I mean I personally hope you do come back to Mass.... I wanna see the state grow. I'd love to see Massachusetts gain a million people. But that being said... my heart is in Maine. I love the country life. I love nature. I love small towns. But I also like to see business succeed and I like the buzz that comes with a growing place...

Best of luck!

Default Town of Framingham

Yes, Framingham has a town form of government. But it sure looks like a city. Picture a city; politics notwithstanding, that's Framingham. And Massachusetts is a commonwealth. What's a commonwealth?

You may step on some toes when you violate the local lingo.

BTW, if you are from Massachusetts, you may already know that the term 'Middlesex County' has not much meaning beyond an obscurely political one, namely, the courts and jails. County government is almost non-existent. So, there is very little identification with one's county. I grew up in Lincoln and in Concord, not Middlesex county. There are many wonderful towns in Essex and Norfolk counties too.

Just thinking, if you like rural, towns in Essex County may fit the bill: Boxford and Groveland, for example, are more rural than Lincoln. Also, Topsfield always seemed nice to me. New Hampshire, just over the state line, can also look very rural, like Hollis and Pelham. Farther south, Dover, Sherborn, and Westwood are like a wilderness in parts. Unless you have a reason for limiting yourself to Middlesex, you really have a vast plate of choices in eastern Massachusetts. Every town is distinct.
