moving to Medford, MA (Somerville, Lawrence: cheap apartments, rental, elementary school)

We are moving to Medford, MA and were looking to rent a two bedroom apartment for around 1,600 near a good elementary school. Though Mystic Place in Medford meets our budget requirements, some website posts on this apartment complex have not been too favourable. We did see the sample rental apt and that seems real nice. We are not sure if we should believe these reviews posted on apartment ratings.com.

I can't speak for that community, but for Medford apartments you might want to try good ol' craigslist, or maybe even an agency near Davis Square (Somerville). Because Tufts is in Medford, there are generally a good number of apartments in that area.

The hubby and I had a fab apartment in Lawrence Estates for $1450 before we bought our house.

I live in Medford but i'm not sure what you mean by the mystic place? but theres lots of cheap apartments in the city

I dont know if theres any good elementry schools in Medford its not a good place to raise kids unless u live in North Medford or the LE but if u send them to public schools theyll get caught up with the riff raff and thats not a good thing and dont let the city data stats fool u. the city has alot of illegals and is in the decline
