South Coast Towns (Lakeville, Mattapoisett, Marion: homes, buying, good schools)

Looking to potentially re-locate for a job in Lakeville, and ideally would like to commute from a small coastal town within a 35min drive. Good schools, artsy, some restaurants preferred.

So far thinking South Dartmouth, Marion, Mattapoisett. Ideas and comments welcomed.

marion and mattapoisett are wonderful beach towns. i'm from lakeville. they're not very far at all. you should also look at wesport (depending upon your price range for buying) and little compton RI (but i think that might be outside your 35 minute commute). lakeville does have homes on the water (lake though not ocean).
