I need to go to East Orleans, MA to visit my elderly grandparents on the Cape. I was going to take a bus to Hyannis and then take another to East Orleans. Is this possible? Which are the best buses to take? Thank you!

I'm not "up" on the bus service in that vicinity, but Bonanza Bus Lines and what is still called the Plymouth-Brockton Street Railway Company have historically operated routes on the Cape. Bonanza has terminals in Newport and Providence; the most likely scenario for you would be to use that company's service to reach Hyannis and then utilize PB for the rest of the journey. Last I checked, you could go all the way to Provincetown (the "hand" at the very end of the Cape) by bus.
Alternatively, you could take the bus or commuter rail into downtown Boston and then catch one of the high-speed ferries to P-Town. From there, however, you'd have to either hire a cab (which could run into some $$$) or get picked up.

Thanks...it looks like I'll be okay. Peter Pan/Bonanza -> Hyannis, then take a local bus to visit them.
