Where can I get Italian pizza near Lexington?
We just moved to Lexington and are looking for Italian style pizza. Don't get us wrong, we like Greek style and others, but have a hankerin' for Italian pizza (think Pinnocchio's in Harvard Sq - regular or Sicilian - , or Med Grille downtown in the financial district).
We've been to most of the places in town (Upper Crust, Alexander's, Mario's (ok, this is Italian, but we're looking for more choices), LHOP, and Nick's), and we're on the west side of Lexington; so we'd be willing to go to Bedford, Waltham, Concord, Lincoln, and Burlington.
Any help thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
Molto gratzia!

Thanks!
We've tried Bertucci's and were hoping for less of a chain...went to Regina's last night...hoping to avoid the mall, too...I think I'm being too much of a pizza snob. thanks for the suggestions though. And Puffle, if you could track down that one on Waltham, that'd be great. thanks again!

you have to be willing to travel....to NYC
Try Salvatores in the Seaport District: index
It's REAL pizza
Or try Franco's in Natick: Franco's Ristorante & Pizzeria - About Us
I'm a pizza snob and can be very critical.....both of the above places have excellent crust/dough and use quality cheeses.
Good luck!
