Default Dog accepting hotel near Hadley

I am coming up July 26 for the Tour of the Hilltowns bicycle race. We love our dog and want to bring her, but reading the reviews of the hotels that allow dogs is scary enough to make me rather get up at 3am and drive there the morning of. Can anyone recommend a hotel All we care about is clean. I know this is somewhat self contradicting but whatever... The race is actually in Windsor, MA, but anywhere around there will be fine I think. I wanted to move to Hadley so we are sort of familiar with that area.

Maybe this site might be of help for a place near Windsor:

DogFriendly.com's City Guide: Berkshires, Massachusetts

For Hadley, I don't know if it's close enough for you, but there is a Red Roof Inn in West Springfield, MA. I used to travel with my dogs and my best experiences were with Red Roof Inns. Have a good bike race!

We have two dogs. The Sheraton chain has some hotels that gracefully allow dogs. Actually, most chains allow them but do it only in some of the hotels - you need to simply call each place near where you want to be.

We had our little dog at a Wyndham (4 stars) and the Sheraton!
