Smile Moving Agawam vs E. Longmeadow

Will be relocating to So. Mass considering Agawam or E. Longmeadow areas. My husband will be working in CT so we need to be close to the boarder. Prefer a single family or possibly a condo for about $230k. Looking for good neighborhood close to restaurants, parks and shopping. I have read alot of negatives about Springfield, what about West Springfield? Looking for comments to help us in making our decision.

Wink Living in Agawam

I have been li8ving in Agaawam/Feeding Hills(part of Agawam) for about80 years--my family has been here ovef 100.--I love living here-my children went to school here(schools are excellent)-shopping is a short distance-Westfield-7 miles--Large Mall 10 miles-smaller malls inSpringfieold andEnfieled, Ct.--It is less expensive to live here than in Connecticut--everything is higher there - gas about 20t0 25 cents higher a gallon.

I have travellec the country and always return--short distance to NYC03 hrs.--Canada(6 hrs) Boston 2Hrs. Cape Cod-3hrs.Ocean in RI-21/2 hrs--what more could you ask for?
