MY FAMILY AND I ARE PLANNING TO VISIT CAPE COD ALL NEXT WEEK. WE ARE HEAR IN TX AND WERE EXCITED ABOUT LEAVING UNTIL WE SAW THE FORECAST FOR NEXT WEEK!! WE WERE LOOKING AT THE WEATHER CHANNEL AND IT IS SHOWING FOR ISOLATED SHOWERS BETWEEN 30-60% CHANCE IN THEY HYANNIS AREA NEXT WEEK. iS THAT PRETTY NORMAL?ARE WE LOOKING AT A RAINY VACATION OR IS IT LIKE HERE SCHEDULED RAIN BUT NOTHING EVER HAPPENS?

It's been pretty rainy recently. The weather reports tend to be really inaccurate though - they change really frequently. By the time you go down, they might be forecasting totally dry and sunny or a monsoon (okay, maybe not a monsoon, but you get the point!). I would keep checking them, but keep the following in mind:
There is plenty of fun to be had on the cape in the rain!
It rarely rains all day, every day; if you are going for a few days, you will certainly get some sun!

That is good to know we will actually be going this Saturday through the following Saturday so we are keeping our fingers crossed

And remember to swim in the Cape, not in the ocean. The water will be much colder than what you are accustomed to, even in the summer.

The weather this summer has been absurd. We had several weeks of daily thunderstorms and rain and this week looks like it will be like that again .

Actually both June and thus far July have been warmer then normal in most of England.
