Default There are no dumb question?

Can you answer your own question regarding utilities for the town you're currently living in without any info? It is very different if you set your thermostat 80Fvs 60F during winter and 60Fvs80F during the summer. Cold vs warm winter/summer also affect utilities. 3min vs 30min shower.

If you look at the water rate, after a certain point, they charge you 50% more.

Water and Sewer Rates effective as of July 1, 2008
----------- Water Sewer Combined
1 to 20 hcf $4.15 $5.81 $9.96
21 to 70 hcf $4.98 $6.97 $ 11.95
> 70 hcf $5.98 $8.36 $14.34

Heating Oil price... 2006 $2.00/gal 2007 $3.00/gal 2008/$4.50/gal
Average house use 1000 gal/yr
