My daughter wants to have an outside wedding reception in September in a "farm" setting/environment either with a tent or pavillion for about 200 people. We have people coming in from Connecticut, NH and south of Boston. Anyone know of such a farm or convention center that fits this description that I can rent for her? Private and/or public location info greatly appreciated!

Check out Bourne Farm in W. Falmouth (I think) if you don't mind going down to the Cape- it's beautiful.

Check out Captain Pollard's Flintlock Farm. [http://www.Flintlock-Farm.com] This Massachusetts farm venue is located in the hamlet of Still River (01467) which is part of the town of Harvard, MA (01451). The site has been nominated for the National Trust's Registry of Historic Places. It's about 20 acres and it could provide your event with a unique venue that is steeped in history and which has both pristine rustic beauty and a convenient location off of Rt #495 for guests coming from out of state. The owners will work with you to make sure that you can achieve the type of farm ambience and theme that you're looking for the type of event that you are interested in holding (wedding, team building, company outing, fundraiser, birthday, family reunion, clambake, BBQ, meeting, seminar, historic reenactment, film, lost arts demonstration or training).

Those places exist. There is Smith (?) Barn in Danvers or Peabody. A couple of places in Lincoln and I remember one place farther west near 495. There must be others.
