Default Builders Specialties

Hey,

I'm always doing some kind of household project that sends me back to the hardware store / lumber yard.

I've found Builders Specialties in Peabody (it may be Danvers) to be an excellent place to find discount building supplies.

The con's are you can't always depend on them having what you want in stock.
They are constantly moving things in and out and it's hit or miss.

I have gotten some great bargains though.
Most of our master bath was purchased there.

I know of a place in Worcester that's just like it but on a smaller scale. I can't remember the name of the place but I believe its on or near RT 122.

Anyway, I'm really looking to find more places like Builders Specialties were we can get good quality lumber, doors, windows and other home building supplies at good prices.

Mainly because I hate depositing my pay check to Home Depot lol.

Anyone know of any good places? I'd love to check them out!

Are you talking about Grossmans? I think I saw one on 122, I used to live in Worc but moved 1 yr+ ago. Sorry, I don't know what a "Builder's Specialty" is!

Thanks but no, it's not a Grossmans.
Grossmans Bargin Outlet lacks any quality. Most of what they have is cheap low quality stuff imported junk. I like a bargin as much as the next person but..............it's no bargin if the stuff isn't any good.
