I love the place I'm hopeing to retire up here in the Berkshires somewhere.I try to get to Stockbridge at least once a year,spent all my summers in Lenox at a camp. |

did you ever hear of the hideaway lodge? I have been to the bershires so many times , yes its beautiful!! Stayed so many times and all over!!! Actually thats cool that you want to retire there!! Great choice!

The name sounds very familiar but I can't place it.I've stayed at the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge a few times ...LOVE IT!Also on a quick trip about 3 years ago I stayed at the Monument Mountain motel ...small but was just redone and very nice.Also next year the Lodge on top of Mount Greylock will be open and that is a great trip! |

I messed the name up , its the dream away lodge, its a famous hidden little place where years ago musicians and wacko's and author , artist types used to go. Kinda cool in the middle of the woods. I actually hiked mount greylock, and stayed all over The bershires, nice choice thanks again see you on the NJ board!!! |
