Default Holliston to South Station

Can anyone tell me what the commute from Holliston to South Station would be via MBTA?

We are figuring on driving to the MBTA's Framingham station which seems like it would be about a 10 or 15 minute drive from downtown Holliston and then less than an hour into South Station, but I just want to make sure I'm on the money here.

Does anyone here do this commute?

Any input on traffic, parking, Worcester line, etc. would be really helpful.

Thanks!

Where in Holliston will you be coming from? Depending on where you are you could be better off parking at the Ashland station, which has more parking spaces and would keep you away from the nasty Framingham downtown traffic snarl. (although there are more stops at the Framingham station).

Here's the Framingham/Worcester line schedule:
MBTA Commuter Rail > Framingham / Worcester Lines Schedules and Maps as well as an online commuting guide

You can also enter an address at MBTA Trip Planner > Find MBTA Services Near a Location to find the closest station to you.

Also here's a new link at the MBTA site to parking information at each station:

MBTA > Riding the T > Parking

Default train etc.

Thanks so much! I did look at the website, but figured someone that actually did the commute would be able to tell me about any nuances.

We would be going via 126 and I would rather drive to Framingham, which is closer to Boston then drive to Ashland which would add more time to the train ride.
