Default amherst, MA

I know there might be threads about this, but can anyone tell me what Amherst, MA is like these days? I haven't heard much, and don't know if it would be a good place to relocate to or not. If there are already threads on this subject, direct me to it. Thanks so much!

I can tell you that it's getting built up like crazy. The bulldozers have arrived and there are McMansions going up everywhere. It's also one of the most left wing communities in the universe. Yuk!
