Opinions on Middleton? (Boston, Beverly, Andover: homebuyer, live, move to)

Hello,

I'm curious what people's impressions of Middleton, MA have been. Does anyone live there, or near there, who can give opinions about it? We're first-time homebuyers looking to move to a town that is close to Danvers (where he works) but also commutable to Boston (where I work), but has more of a rural, small-town feel, and which isn't ridiculously expensive. We looked at Andover for about .5 seconds before realizing we could never afford it, but what initially drew me to it was the sense of community and the quaintness of it's downtown area. Now we're looking at Middleton.

I'd love to hear anything, good or bad. I'd also love input on any other towns in the area.

Middleton is very nice, my parents live there and love it. Its a quiet town but close 95 for commuting to work. The Ipswich river goes through middleton which is great for canoeing/fishing. You might also consider Beverly which is a bit different than Middleton but still a nice place and much cheaper housing. Good luck!
