Default Where are the best goodwill and thrift stores in MA?

I'm a fan of thrift shops and goodwill shops- true treasures can be found- my favorite being the Goodwill store by Union Square in Somerville.

Any other thrift shop fans? Which shops are trhe best?

My mother lives out in Sturbridge-and is a fan of thrift shops- any in her part of the state? thanks!

^A bunch in New Bedford. Goodwill, Salvation Army, but my favorite is Savers. Building 19 also has some fantastic deals.

I love the Garment District ("not a district, it's a store") in Kendall Sq in Cambridge. They have dollar a pound deals, lots of vintage, as well as Halloween costumes. They are usually mobbed this time of year, though.

Have you tried the Salvation Army in Saugus? It's the biggest thrift store I've ever been to. I used to pop in there all the time to dig through their records.

While we are on the subject, does anyone know of a good women's group to donate my clothes to? I would like to see it go directly to someone instead of a large group like the Salvation Army.
