Default Moving to MA from VA

We are relocating to MA - new job in Natick. We have two high school kids - finding a decent HS and something close to Natick would be ideal. We have heard conflicting opinions regarding Ashland - it looks great on line but we were encouraged to look else where because of the Nyanza site. We are not convinced that this is an issue - any thoughts/advise/opinions from any one?

We were also told that the Northborough area - Algonquin HS was excellent- further away from Natick but still do -able.

What would be the best choice between the two?

There was a health study that definitively linked Nyanza to a cancer cluster in Ashland. There are better options nearby, including Northboro and Southboro. There are also terrific school systems nearby in Sudbury and Sherborn, but home prices and taxes are higher there.

If you are interested in Ashland and towns like it in the vicinity, you might take a look at Hopkinton and Holliston. Hopkinton is a little more country than Holliston. Both are friendly, clean, and safe small towns. No superfund issues in either town as far as I know.
