Day Care in East Longmeadow (preschool, price, babysitter)

This may not be the place to ask this but I thought it's worth a try. My husband, two children and I are moving from the Chicago suburbs to East Longmeadow during the Christmas holiday. I have provided day care to our neighbors in the past and hope to find a family to baby sit for when we get there. Would anyone know what is a fair price I could charge there? The last family I babysat for paid me $7.00 an hour for 1 child, $10 for 2 and once they had their third $13 for 3. I hope to start some time in January. I need to work to help pay for our heating bills there!!!

The typical rate here is $10 an hour for a babysitter...BUT that wouldn't be the rate for fulltime.
Home Daycares for FT charge from 175 a week to 250 a week.

But if you're just babysitting I personally wouldn't charge more then $8 an hour, maybe add to that for additional kids though

If you are looking for child care call the Preschool Enrichment Team(PET) 413-736-3900. If you are just looking for an occasional babysitter or a babysitter in your home, then I apologize, PET won't be able to help you.
