Gloucester
I want to move from California to the Gloucester area and I have some general questions. I am a special ed teacher and am wondering how difficult it will be to find a position. Are there many schools nearby I could commute to? I know Gloucester only has one high school and middle.
Also i am an avid surfer and am wondering what that is like there? I have only heard of the areas around New Bedford . I am wondering if there are any surfable breaks in the GLoucester area? (I know the water is cold by the way, it is pretty comparable to here in northern California.)
My stats are I am a thirty something single female, no kids, so I don't need a huge income, but does anyone know if teaching salaries in Mass. are comfortable for the area?
Also, I really liked the little I researched about the Gloucester area, especially since I am very outdoorsy, but am totally open to other suggestions.
