Default Moving to canton,ma
i have narrowed it down to Canton,Milton or Dedham. I Am in love with canton, but have heard that its downtown area is quite dangerous and has a lot of drugs. A diverse community is also key to choosing my new home. Any info on Canton or the other two would be great Thanks!

p.s. how long is the commute to Boston from each of these cities, i now that they are all considered part of the "greater Boston" area.

A friend of mine has lived in Canton for over 20 years and I've never heard of a major problem with drugs or violence. She's raised four children there, two of whom are still in the school system, with great success. Neighboring Randolph, where I used to live, is the one to steer clear of.
Canton has two commuter rail stations that will zip you into Town in no time. Half hour or so, I think.
I think Canton is a great choice. Good Luck!

Mokem is on a distinguished road
Milton is beautiful, but the high school now has metal detectors...Canton is great for a family...no big drug or violence problems.
