Default Area around quincy adams T station V/s lexington st,waltham

Hi All,

We are moving from out of state to MA and we are looking to rent a 2Br
along the Redline T station, I have found 2 appt community - one
near Quincy Adams T station (walkable) , on centre st and one on Lexington St in Waltham ,( I will be catching the T @alewife). Which of these two
surrounding /neighbourhood is better, has good day care and shopping amenities and is safe !

TIA

Lots of good Asian restaurants in that area of Quincy. The ocean and South Shore are within easy reach. Walk to the train station is much more preferable than trying to get to Alewife Station via bus.
I would opt for Quincy.
