Rockport/Cape Ann Rental (Boston, Peabody: rentals, hotels, vacation home)

My husband and I are driving from California the end of January. We are in contact with a couple of Realtors regarding a temporary living situation until we find the perfect place preferably in Rockport/Cape Ann. Have not had much luck so far. We have 2 pug dogs and 1 cat. We would appreciate any info anyone has regarding this. We have excellent references in the MA. area.

I would think there would be quite a few winter rentals available til May or June. What size/price range are you looking for?

In addition to searching the MLS and Craigslist you might also check out local papers for rental listings:

Classified Connection
Boston.com

It shouldn't be hard to find an off-season rental in that area, unlike others, such as Boston and some of the college towns.

Another site says it specializes in short-term rentals, but there quite a few hotels listed. I noticed a cute bungalow, however on the first page:

I would subscribe to one of the local newspapers or visit their classified section online.The Boston Globe or my personal fave: The Wicked Local Northshore Sunday paper online:

There was a site I used years ago for a summer rental, but I can't remember what it was. It was VERY comprehensive and had nice properties. I'll post it if I can find it.
