Default Trip Planner?

Does anyone have a good trip planner online? I'm driving from Austin, TX to MA in a few weeks, and am trying to plan out where we should spend the nights. Unfortunately, most of the ones I've found online are more of a sight-seeing tool to help you catch landmarks, etc.

What I'm looking for is one that says: if I leave at X time, I should stop in Y city for the night, given normal driving conditions.

TIA!

When I drove from MA to WI, I just used Google Maps to calculate the distance/time and then broke it up into reasonable chunks across three days. It wasn't hard, but we often changed plans depending on how we felt (driving later into the night if we felt energized) and made short stops according to which restaurants seemed most appealing.
