Default Any info you can offer on Georgetown Mass.

Hey All,

Would love any advice, info, opinions on Georgetown. How's the middle school and high school. Is there a grocery store in-town? What other conveniences are available in-town? Do you recommend living there or not?

Thanks!

Lauren, it really depends on what you're looking for in your next 'home town' . Georgetown is sort of a quaint little town, one traffic light, great access to Rte 95. Easy drive to shopping in N. Andover, Haverhill or even Plaistow NH. There are several businesses in town for the day-2-day stuff, veterinarian, grocery, couple of gas stations, a Dunkin Donuts for your coffee, some OK restaurants... Are you looking to be 'near' to something in particular for a commute? If you're looking for a smaller and quiet town, Georgetown might be right for you. If you're looking for a city with nightlife and lots of action, it would definitely NOT be what you're looking for... And I don't have kids in the school system so can't comment on the middle or high schools from personal experience. IMO it's just a typical New England small town, low crime, nice quality of life, but again, it depends on what you are looking for...
