Question State Taxes - Returns on your rental cost?

Hello,

So we made the big move to the East Coast and are now going to be living in the West suburbs of Boston.

I just heard that the state of Massachusetts gives a big percentage back to people who rent properties up to a certain amount.
Does anyone know what percentage that is and what the maximum amount is as well?

Thank you so much for your help.

Peace & Blessings,
Laura

Thank you for the information.

I actually went to H&R Block this past Saturday and they told me rent deducted from your taxes is 50% up to $6000

Peace & Blessings,
Laura
