Clinton, Massachusetts is this a ?????? Town to live in?
Please give me some information and the buzz of Clinton, Massachusetts.
Looking for a quiet type of area to land in, to begin living in New England.
I am interested in hiking, biking, swimming, tennis and good eats.
Thank you for any advice, sincerely, Sandra

A former blue-collar town, still very blue collar at heart. Affordable housing (for the area). No buzz at all. "Eats" means a good longish drive to anywhere else (likely Maynard to the closest).
I think if you're moving along (single) it'd be a massive snoozefest.
Best wishes on your move.

Old mill town... blue collar is right... ''not a particularly good looking town'' is being polite. Fugly fits it much better imo! There are many really nice towns in Mass. for what you're describing your lifestyle to be... why on earth you'd pick Clinton out as a town to ask about is beyond me. {Walks away scratchin' her head}. lol

Clinton used to have the distinction of having more bars per capita than any other town in New England. It's the armpit of central MA and there are many better places to live. You have several towns right around that area that are far better....Sterling, Princeton, Holden, Boylston, Shrewsbury, Grafton, Lancaster, Bolton, Stow, Leominster, Lunenburg, Westminster....and on and on and on.
Of course....if you like the smell of Weetabix on a hot summer night, then maybe
