Thanks for the great info everyone. We checked out the towns and are realy liking Westborough!

On a side note, anyone have any bad experiences with having private water and sewage? I've never lived in a place with a septic tank or well and I'm wondering if there is any mojor drawback to these.

For water you should get a water quality and water pressure test at inspection. For the septic system the seller needs to get a title V certificate that validates it's in working condition. That doesn't really guarantee how long it will work but the septic inspector can sometimes give indicators like whether there are any signs of corrosion in the components, what the tank is made of (concrete tanks last longer), etc. that will give you some assurance that the system isn't on its last legs.

If you have any questions about Westboro please feel free to PM me. I grew up there.
:-)

I've had septic and well for 25 years and never had any issues. Pretty common around this area.
