Worcester, lets be real
I have been in Worcester now for a little over a year. What I've learned about this town, is that there are a lot of cool shops and spots, but they're kept kinda secret.
I looked up forum pages about Worcester, and the ideas of what to do really didn't cut it for me. I need to know what are some SPECIFIC things to do in Worcester. If you think that Worcester has nothing to offer, then post it.
I just really need some suggestions. I'm not gonna crash your spots with a bunch of loud people, I promise. I'll be discreet with your information.

You didn't state what you are looking for, but I used to enjoy the Higgens Armory Museum. Haven't been there in years, so don't know if it's still around.

The Armory lives on! And they're advertising on the billboards on 290, so they'd like your business. My son is a little young for that museum, so we go to the EcoTarium with him and let him explore. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon.

I've been in Worcester for 34 years now, and there is not much to do
Let me know if you find something.
Maybe now that The Hanover Theater is alive and kicking you could catch a show there, if that's your thing?

I don't live in Worcester, but I've been to a few shows there. Seems to have a decent music scene. I think it was at the Palladium.

bored in mass, there is tons of things to do in Worcester or the surrounding area.
Adult fun: Block 5, Vincents, anything on Shrewsbury Street
Kids: Eco, Higgins, many parks to hike in, West Boylston Playground
Bored in Mass: bingo, senior walk at the mall, meals for wheels....

Ya know how Somalia is a failed state? Worcester is like that, only a city.

I'm really not in the business of defending Worcester, but it isn't entirely destitute try:
The Worcester Art Museum-great collection for a museum its size
Experience the funkiness of Highland Street
Walk the Wachusett Reservoir, especially in the fall
If you smoke, step back in time at The Owl Shop. The finest tobacconist in the country.
a little out of town, The Brookfield Apple Orchard
Ride the chair lift to the top of Wachusett Mountain
Sports-Minor league hockey and baseball. College sports-there are three colleges in Worcester that field football teams.
Find a candlepin bowling alley for a uniquely New England experience. Try Colonial Bowling Center on Mill Street.
Eat at a diner. I am partial to The Boulevard on Shewsbury St., Miss Worcester on Southbridge St., or get up early on a Saturday and go west to Spencer and eat at The Kenwood
Speaking of Spencer for all of your winter holiday needs The Christmas Barn at Oakwood Farms on Route 31
See if any of that helps
