Oh yes we will Fresh brewed both sweet and unsweet. Nothing beats a glass of fresh brewed sweet tea with the frothy foam at the top from the sugar!!! That was the only thing we looked forward to when we returned back to TX from the trips up there!!! We had never heard of the fountain tea

Dude,
They are looking for a good location to open a BBQ restaurant, not a good one to eat at!
I like Blue Ribbon too though!

Woburn , Cummings PArk area would be a good location, They just opened up a New Courthouse and is leasing space in the area. Could get a lot of people to come for lunch from the office complexes in the area. - there's a couple malls nearby and hotels as well
Maybe Commerce Way area of Woburn too. would work :-)
or WINN ST. area.
all of these areas are convenient to 128/95 and not far from 93-3
-Jeff--
We need a good neighborhood type family friendly Texas BBQ joint
out here in this part of the world
Closest BBQ place to me is Blue Ribbon in Arlington
(the best one anyway)
We need something like this.
Could play off the Everything's Big in Texas theme too :-)
and have some cool wild-west type displays and decor.
like an old saloon.
maybe have one side wall with a movie screen showing old westerns or something :-)
Could be a fun place :-)

I'm surprised AandD hasn't posted here yet? I'm sure she's dying for REAL Texas BBQ by now.

You might look into the area around the No Name restaurant on the Fish Pier. It's a funky location but I think quite suitable and does attract tourists. You could also get parking (?).
There are a few restaurants out there but since there's a lot of condos in the area they could probably use some more. Texas BBQ would offer some good variety as well.

I have been watching this thread with keen interest. LOL. I had Sticky Fingers last week. That was decent. I'd just about sell a child for some Salt Lick bar-b-que or a Chicken Fried Steak and mashed taters smothered in white gravy.

Just a thought, don't know if it's been considered - sometimes BBQ joints have a hard time opening new restaurants due to ever-stricter environmental standards. A lot of times it can be really hard to get a permit that allows the smokers to burn real wood, like they should. Older places are almost always grandfathered in. Newer ones can have a tougher time.
Of course, I'm curious as to what type of wood they intend to use for the smokers, unless they'll be gas-fired. I doubt there's much mesquite available locally.
