Default Canton vs Easton - Where to live?

Okay, we have narrowed down are search of a town to live in to either Canton or Easton. Canton seems to have more of a main st usa feel to thr center of town and it's closer to my work plus it has the rail station in town. Howevr, houses are pricier and it is very busy / density is high for what we are used to. Easton you get more house for the price. Can anyone help out re schools comparison? or any other differentiators?
