Some colleges
use cape cod community college for there classes, even bridgewater has
some classes there. I think now suffolk is not taking any more students for
the masters program, but they were offering classes for along time there.

OHHH, ok... you meant that some colleges OFFER classes there but aren't necessarily located there. Yeah, that is something worth looking into.

Default New Subject

I guess I can just tag onto this post.
I'm probably going to be getting a job in Buzzard's Bay in the summer of 2012 for a few years. I like a more rural/suburban area and I have no problem staying away from cities. I'll have about $1000 a month to spend for an apartment or house. All I really need is a 1 bedroom/1 bath, but I'd prefer something with some land, not a bunch of rowhouses crammed together or stuff like that. And preferably a place that doesn't have a crime problem (which doesn't sound hard as long as you stay away from New Bedford.)
Any suggestions?

Look in Marion, Mattapoisett, Rochester, or Bourne on "this side of the canal". Wareham is OK in some areas but not the greatest town in general, if you know what I mean.

In addition to those communities, I'd add Plymouth and Carver to the list. Carver's quiet, and Plymouth is beautiful (very spread out).

Wareham has some nice pockets, but is a bit iffy in places as massnative71 pointed out.

Yes, Plymouth is huge. I would only look in the southern end of town, otherwise it will be a good commute up route 3 (your only option and I would want to avoid it altogether). If you are in Buzzards Bay it is much easier to go east and west (Rte. 6/195/495 towns), that's why I would focus there. Carver works too, especially the S. Carver/Rte. 58 area.
