Default Libertarian minded towns in MA

I just want a list of some towns that are libertarian minded or towns with anarcho beliefs.
Id like to say Winchester is a libertarian community on the whole as well as Belmont but Id like a list. Thx.

New Hampshire. Our motto is "Live free or die". MA is a one party state. The government keeps getting bigger and bigger every year. It is the opposite of libertarian....

Those are all liberal towns (or neighborhoods in the case of JP), not libertarian. Belmont is liberal, too. I don't know what would make a town libertarian--I'm guessing either a large concentration of libertarians or a town that is more hands-off in its zoning and regulations. Off the top of my head I can't think of any towns in MA that really fit either of those categories, but the four listed above may be some of the least libertarian.

Put this way, over 2 million people showed up in voted to keep the income tax and the state is always facing chronic budget problems. I am surprised that such a measure even made it to the ballot and that almost a million people supported it, so there may be hope for Mass after all.

People are leaving that state because of high taxes, high cost of living, and low standard of living, which is only going to get worse if the trend continues. The middle class is squeezed and there is a high birth rate among the poor and a healthy influx of immigrants. I left and saw an increase in my standard of living. New Hampshire is nice, but many people from Massachusetts are moving there and taking their liberal politics with them, which is a shame.

You might want to check out other states, unless you want to reform politics.

I think you should just move to a town you like and respect other people's differences as hopefully, they will tolerate yours.

That is a funny post. Wellesley and Lexington are two liberal limousine towns. JP has a sizable lesbian population and P-town is one of the gayest towns in the country...

Get it, you need to "respect" their differences and hopefully they'll "tolerate" yours. Typical liberal fascism speak.

The only hope you have is to find a sparsely populated town maybe something out in Berkshire county -- where at least the locals will leave you alone.

Otherwise, I'd find another state.

Yes, it was a poor attempt at sarcasm that didn't land.

I would say there aren't too many libertarian towns in Mass, perhaps in western Mass around Chicopee, but nothing along eastern or southern Mass.

MA is pretty liberal (left leaning on the political spectrum), but it's not really libertarian. We have a pretty big state gov't. Parts of Central or Western MA may be your best bet (west of I-84), but I don't know much about the area. I'll throw out the New Hampshire idea as well. Plenty of people live in NH and commute to the Boston area daily.
