Default Any Buses that go to Fitchburg from Worcester or NYC?

I've been told there are buses that go to Fitchburg from NYC, but I can't seem to find any info online. Would any one know of any?
If not, are there any buses that goes to Fitchburg, from Worcester, or even from Boston?
I'm traveling to Fitchburg from NYC on a Saturday and would like to arrive there at about 3 PM. The train from Boston to Fitchburg has arrivals for 12:51 and 5:02 PM on Saturdays, but nothing inbetween, so I was wondering if there are any bus alternatives to Fitchburg? Thanks.

There has been no public transportation between Fitchburg and Worcestor for many years now. The might still be a Vermont Lines bus running between Boston and the Rte 12 exit off of Rte 2 on the Fitchburg/Leominster line. (A taxi from there to downtown will run you $15-$20 these days.) This bus used to run between Brattleboro VT and Boston (downtown and Logan Airport). There used to be two buses a day--one into Boston and one from Boston. You should check with them The train is now the only public transportation from Boston to downtown Fitchburg.

You'd be better off renting a car in New Haven. Take the Metro North Commuter Railroad from Grand Central to New Haven and grab a rental car. New Haven to Fitchburg is about a 90 min drive.

Alternatively you could just rent a car all the way from NYC. I used to make it from the Whitestone Br to Leominster in about 2 hrs 45 min. Use the Merritt Pkwy throught CT to Rte 91, to Rte 84, to the Mass Pike, to Rte 290, to Rte 190. Cost will probably be the same or less than a combination of buses and trains, not to mention more comfortable and convenient.
