Marlboro sublet-screening prospective tenants
A friend of mine is looking to sublet her two-bedroom apartment in Marlboro for a few months. She's looking for places to market it besides Craigslist and the newspaper. She knows the property management office will check the people's credit but she's wondering if there's any screening you can do before people see the place, just for safety sake. She's just a little nervous about that. Any ideas?

It will be extremely hard for her to sublet her apartment for just a few months.
She can do a credit and police check on the people herself before they move in. Most places will charge someone the screening fee before they select a tenant.

She is open to having them stay longer, she just will allow someone to rent for just four months to fulfill the remainder of her lease.
She was more looking for advice on where to advertise it and any thoughts on what kind of screening she could do before inviting someone to come and see her apartment.
