Default possible job in framingham... where to live?

I am considering a move to MA and would be working in Framingham. I have 3yr twin boys and am looking for a place that would have a "community-based" feeling to it. I know I am probably asking for the world, but I would want a commute of max 30 min, a house between 300-400K. Schools are obviously important to me.

I appreciate any help in advance.

Actually there are some pretty good options within an easy commute to Framingham.

Holliston - Lovely small town with quaint walkable downtown with general store, a few shops, a children's park, tennis courts, and soon to be opened cafe; good schools; lots of community activities; and easy access to Framingham

Hopkinton - A growing town with good schools; several family-run businesses downtown; two ponds (one for sailing and one more motorized recreation); lots of sports activities for the kids; easy access to major highways and the commuter rail

Sudbury - A house in that price range would be on the smaller side, maybe a 3bd 1-2ba ranch or Cape but schools are excellent. There are tons of community and newcomer activities, great town pool, walking trails, plenty of shopping, many sports activities, and more. An excellent place to raise a family. And it's right next door to Framingham.

I just moved to Mendon, MA. I commute to Wellesley and pass Framingham every morning - it would be on the higher end of your 30 minute time frame but from the short time I have lived here (3 weeks) - Mendon is a nice family friendly town.

the further west you go...the better house you may get for the money. My best friend grew up in Grafton and loved it! Holliston is a great little town too! Good luck to you!!!

What about Northborough? It's a great little town, imo & probably a little more affordable than some other towns mentioned. It's very close to the Solomon Pond Mall, 290, 495, & Rt. 20.

I would look into Sudbury , Stow, Ashland, Hopkinton, Holliston, Medfield, Dover, Sherborn, Medway, Norfolk, Westwood, Needham, Wayland, and Concord. Berlin and Bolton might also be doable - possibly even Harvard

These would be towns I'd suggest looking into within 30 min commute
